Jacob D. Miller, 44, of South Hadley, Massachusetts, pleaded guilty to illegally importing plutonium from Russia and selling radioactive and other hazardous materials to customers, authorities said. He also pleaded guilty to charges involving ammunition, explosive materials, hazardous mailings and child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts.

Miller mailed plutonium to his South Hadley home for a business called Collect The Periodic Table, the New York Post reported, citing prosecutors. Fox News reported that the Justice Department said he sold Russian plutonium to 67 customers in the United States and abroad; the Post described sales to dozens of U.S. customers.
