Cornyn stated, "I think we just ought to resolve all those questions by seeing what the toxicology reports show." He emphasized the need for clarity amid growing conspiracy theories, including claims made by Laura Loomer, a known conspiracy theorist, who suggested Graham may have been poisoned. Cornyn's comments coincided with FBI agents being seen outside Graham's home for a second day. Former Congressman Max Rose criticized the implications of Cornyn's statements, calling them irresponsible.
