The family of Ken Urker, who was previously in a relationship with Gypsy Rose Blanchard, has expressed strong feelings of discontent towards her following his unexpected death. Ken's sister, Autumn Urker, spoke to the Daily Mail in an interview published on Saturday, stating, "We are disgusted with her statements!" She noted that Blanchard had not reached out to their family since Ken's passing. Autumn described her brother as a compassionate individual who loved unconditionally and emphasized his qualities as a father, brother, son, and friend.
In a separate interview with the US Sun published on Friday, Autumn accused Blanchard of misrepresenting the circumstances of Ken's death, particularly disputing claims that he was found after failing to respond to a birthday text from her. Autumn stated, "Gypsy had no right to lie and say that it was because of some text that she sent to him." She also claimed that Blanchard had been telling others that they were engaged and expecting a second child, which she asserted was not accurate.
Ken and Gypsy shared a daughter, Aurora Raina, born in December 2024. Autumn clarified that Ken and Gypsy had separated over a month prior to his death, with Ken being the one to end the relationship.
Ken was found deceased in his home in Raceland, Louisiana, on Thursday, which was his 34th birthday. Reports indicate that drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun were discovered at the scene. A 911 dispatch log revealed that Blanchard's sister-in-law reported that Ken had threatened suicide shortly before his death. In the aftermath, Blanchard expressed her suspicion that Ken may have died from an overdose, stating, "I don’t know if it was intentional or not. He was not in a good state of mind lately." She also shared a tribute to Ken on her Instagram Stories, describing him as an amazing father and expressing her enduring connection to him.
