DCCC Adds Five New Races to Red to Blue Program Ahead of November Elections

This expansion reflects the DCCC's belief in its ability to win more seats in the House of Representatives, where Republicans currently hold a slim majority. The DCCC plans to provide these candidates with strategic guidance, resources, training, and fundraising support to enhance their chances of success in the upcoming elections. All five candidates have prior public or military service, with notable backgrounds including Leela Gray's 30-year Army career and Nancy Lacore's experience as a three-star Navy admiral. Despite the focus on these races, many districts remain relatively safe for Republicans, with three of the districts having been won by an average margin of 19.3% in previous elections. The candidates will emphasize issues where voters may feel Republicans have failed to deliver, as they prepare for the general elections on November 3.
