Ukraine launched more than 1,000 drones at Russia overnight Sunday, with reports saying the attack struck oil facilities and caused fires, including at a major oil terminal in St. Petersburg.

The Hill reported that a data center was also hit and that power was disrupted for thousands of residents. Russian state media called it one of the year’s largest drone attacks, according to The Hill. Al Jazeera described the operation as among Ukraine’s largest of the war.

Separately, Ukraine apologized after suspected drone debris damaged a moving car in Lithuania, Deutsche Welle reported. Kyiv said Russian jamming may have diverted drones that were aimed at Russia, while NATO jets were scrambled.
