President Trump signed pardons Tuesday for Zachary Czubak and Patrick Fleming during a campaign rally in Wasilla, Alaska, according to multiple reports. The two men were brought onstage as Trump signed the clemency documents.

The Hill and Fox News identified Czubak and Fleming as diesel mechanics who had pleaded guilty to Clean Air Act violations; Fox News said they co-owned an Anchorage diesel repair shop and pleaded guilty to conspiracy in 2022. The Washington Examiner described them as truckers and reported that Trump said they had been wrongly charged for engine repairs.

The rally also backed Sen. Dan Sullivan and other Republican candidates, the Washington Examiner reported. The New York Times said the pardons were part of Trump's midterm campaign pitch.
