Thousands of opposition demonstrators marched toward India’s Supreme Court in Delhi on Monday to protest revisions to electoral rolls, as disputes over the voter lists continued.

Opposition parties, including the INDIA bloc, say the changes favor Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s party. NPR reported that authorities have removed more than 130 million names from the voter roll. Modi’s party and the Election Commission reject the allegation, the BBC reported. Protesters have also called for Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar to resign, according to the BBC.

On Tuesday, reports said Rahul Gandhi had invited opposition lawmakers for tea following the march. The BBC also reported that police detained members of the Cockroach Janta Party after they entered the barricaded Jantar Mantar protest site and chanted slogans.
