Former Vice President Kamala Harris is considering another White House campaign in 2028, while Democratic strategists and donors debate her prospects after her 2024 election defeat, according to Fox News and Breitbart.

Fox News reported that Maria Cardona, an outside adviser to Harris, rejected criticism in a Politico report that Harris had missed an opportunity to reshape her political standing. Cardona called the report “infuriating in its silliness.” Breitbart, citing a Wall Street Journal report, said Harris has spoken with major donors, hired staff and traveled to battleground states, while telling associates she remains undecided. At an NAACP event in Michigan, Harris said, “I have not decided if I’m going to run again,” and linked her future plans to the November midterms.
