Sen. Jon Ossoff said Tuesday that he would serve a full six-year Senate term if reelected, rejecting suggestions during a Georgia debate that he plans to seek the presidency in 2028. His Republican opponent, Rep. Mike Collins, challenged him on the issue.

Ossoff and Collins also argued over the Jeffrey Epstein files and the 2020 election, according to The Hill. Ossoff linked Collins to the administration’s tariffs, The Hill reported. Collins said of Ossoff, “He is running. He's going to be your DSA candidate,” according to Axios. Ossoff is seeking reelection in a state President Trump won in 2024, The Hill said.
