A federal judge on Tuesday ordered the White House to continue allowing CNN, MS NOW and Politico access to its grounds while their lawsuit against the Trump administration proceeds. Judge Timothy Kelly issued a preliminary injunction extending an earlier temporary order.

The outlets sued after their access was revoked in September, raising free-speech and due-process claims, Deutsche Welle reported. Kelly found they were likely to succeed on their claims, according to The Hill and Deutsche Welle. Axios reported that Kelly had initially required the White House to restore the outlets’ credentials for 14 days beginning Sept. 24, and later extended that order through Oct. 13. The new injunction remains in effect for the duration of the case.
