FBI agents arrested another suspected co-conspirator of the ShinyHunters hacking group earlier this week, FBI Director Kash Patel said Friday, as the bureau investigates a breach involving its jobs website.

In an Oct. 9 statement, Patel said ShinyHunters is believed to be responsible for the recent FBIjobs.gov incident. He said the affected platform was managed by a third-party vendor. The arrest was part of a series of recent FBI actions involving the hacking network, according to Patel.

Patel said investigators were continuing to pursue leads and evidence in the case.
