Eva Marie Saint, who won an Academy Award for her first film, “On the Waterfront,” died Tuesday at her home in Los Angeles, according to family representative Jeff Sanderson. She was 102.

Saint made her film debut opposite Marlon Brando in the 1954 movie, portraying Edie Doyle, and later starred with Cary Grant in Alfred Hitchcock’s “North by Northwest.” PBS reported that her acting career continued into her 90s. Fox News reported that she died of natural causes, while the other reports did not give a cause of death.
