Seahawks sign cornerback Terrion Arnold amid felony charges

Terrion Arnold, a former first-round pick of the Detroit Lions, has signed with the Seattle Seahawks. Reports indicate that Arnold was released by the Lions in June following his arrest in Tampa, Florida, on felony charges related to robbery and kidnapping from February. Arnold is facing eight felony charges, with prosecutors alleging he orchestrated the abduction and beating of three men after suspecting them of stealing $100,000 in cash and luxury goods from him. His bail was set at $1 million by Hillsborough County Judge Christopher Sabella. Arnold's attorney stated that he will deny the allegations, and his agency claims there is no credible evidence against him. The Lions' head coach previously mentioned that the team did not believe Arnold was involved based on available information. The NFL is expected to determine if Arnold will be placed on the commissioner’s exempt list. Arnold was anticipated to be a starting cornerback for the Lions this season, having recorded his first career interception last season despite limited play due to injury.
