Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport to Install Foot Wash Stations

Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport will install Islamic foot wash stations, known as Wudu ablution stations, inside bathrooms at the facility. The project was registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on July 31, and the installation is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The project will add one men's and one women's ablution station to existing restrooms in Terminal D, at an estimated cost of $300,000, funded privately. The updates aim to prevent water on restroom floors and protect sink counters. Similar facilities exist at other major U.S. airports, including Chicago O'Hare.
