He stated, 'I’m in a dilemma where I literally have no state where I can legally vote right now.'
The ruling by New York Judge Christina Ryba removed Kennedy's name from the ballot after finding that the address he provided was a 'sham.' Kennedy testified that he was renting a room in a friend's home in Katonah, New York, but had only stayed there once due to his campaign travels. The judge found his claims improbable, stating that substantial evidence indicated he primarily resides in California with his wife, actress Cheryl Hines.
In January 2025, the progressive group Accountable.US filed a complaint alleging that Kennedy committed voter fraud by voting by mail from the Katonah address, which had been invalidated by the court.
