Courtney Clenney Settles Civil Suit Before Plea Deal in Boyfriend's Death

Courtney Clenney, a former OnlyFans model, has settled a civil lawsuit related to the death of her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli, just days before reaching a plea agreement in her murder case. Clenney, 30, is charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing of Obumseli, 27, which occurred in their Miami apartment on April 3, 2022. The civil lawsuit, filed by Obumseli's family, accused Clenney of battery and claimed that the apartment complex failed to provide adequate security. Clenney's attorneys stated that she acted in self-defense during the incident. The civil claims against her were dismissed on March 4, 2026, while the lawsuit against other defendants continues. Clenney's plea agreement is expected to be presented in court on August 10, 2026.
