Canadian Woman Arrested in Florida for Allegedly Using False Identity and Possessing Fake IDs

Body camera footage from Hillsborough County deputies shows the arrest of a Canadian woman, Bryce Swanson, on July 29 in Tampa. Swanson allegedly provided a false name during a traffic stop due to malfunctioning taillights and tag lights. Initially, she claimed to have a driver's license but later admitted she had never possessed one. A search of her vehicle revealed 12 fraudulent identification cards bearing her picture but different names and dates of birth. Swanson, who is reportedly a Canadian national that overstayed her visa, was charged with driving without a valid driver's license and providing a false name to law enforcement. She is currently being held without bond due to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer.
