Florida Python Challenge Results in 96 Invasive Snakes Removed

The Florida Python Challenge concluded with the winner capturing 96 invasive Burmese pythons from the Everglades National Park. This initiative aims to remove hundreds of these snakes, which are considered an invasive species in the region, each year. The challenge lasts for 10 days and encourages hunters to capture and humanely euthanize as many pythons as possible across eight designated locations. The winner receives a cash prize of $10,000.
