Emily Moreno, Miller's ex-wife and daughter of U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno, accused him of multiple abusive behaviors, including throwing scalding water at her and threatening her with a gun.
A video released today includes clips from seven hours of police interviews and bodycam footage related to the child abuse investigation. CNN previously published similar footage in June. The police concluded that there was insufficient evidence to substantiate claims of child abuse. However, the released clips show a child protection specialist noting that the collarbone injury was accompanied by a bruise resembling a handprint, and Emily Moreno reported that their daughter expressed fear of her father.
Senator Moreno commented on the situation, describing it as a difficult family matter and stating, "My daughter lives in constant fear of this man."
