A video clip shared by Newsom's office showed Trump walking away from reporters after a question was posed about Max Miller, a representative facing allegations of domestic violence and child abuse. Trump responded, "I hope he stays and works it out," before leaving.
Trump's trip included a fundraising event at the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes and a rally in Nevada promoting tax relief initiatives. Prior to his arrival, an armed man was arrested at the golf course. Additionally, concerns were raised regarding Marine One's takeoff from the White House, which occurred while commercial flights were still operating nearby. Both the White House and the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that Trump was not in danger during the incident.
Despite ongoing questions about Trump's health, including observations of bruised hands and public drowsiness, the White House has asserted that the president is in good health. A spokesperson criticized Newsom's comments, stating, "Gavin Newscum is the worst governor in America, and he also may be the dumbest."
