Miller shared a link to a folder containing documents he claimed would clear him of abuse allegations made by his ex-wife, Emily Moreno. However, among these documents was a photo that Moreno's attorney stated could be classified as Child Sexual Abuse Material due to the visibility of the child's genitals.
Moreno's attorney, Subodh Chandra, reported that the photo received over 200,000 views before being removed. Miller's attorney, Aaron Minc, accepted responsibility for the accidental release and for failing to redact their daughter's name in the documents. He expressed regret for the incident.
On Capitol Hill, Senator Moreno expressed dissatisfaction with the explanation, labeling the incident as a potential felony and criticizing the handling of the situation. He described the release of the photo as a serious violation and stated that anyone involved should face legal repercussions.
The situation arises amid an ongoing custody battle between Miller and Emily Moreno, who has made serious allegations against him, including physical abuse. In a recent statement, Senator Moreno emphasized the need for Miller to seek help and criticized his character. Miller, who has previously denied allegations of domestic violence, has requested an investigation by the House Ethics Committee to address the accusations against him.
