In a livestream shared on X, Miller refuted claims of violence against Moreno and their daughter, who reportedly suffered a broken collarbone under unclear circumstances. He stated, "I have never abused our daughter," and emphasized that he would not withdraw from the congressional race despite the allegations. The couple is currently engaged in a custody dispute, which has led to the release of court documents detailing Moreno's claims of Miller's violent behavior, including holding a gun to her head and throwing boiling water at her. Moreno's father, Republican Senator Bernie Moreno, has also criticized Miller, stating that he poses a danger to his daughter and granddaughter. Miller has a history of violent incidents dating back to his high school years, which have been reported previously. Despite these allegations, Trump has continued to support Miller.
