Bernie Moreno calls for Max Miller's resignation amid domestic abuse allegations

Moreno called for Miller's resignation from the House of Representatives, stating he does not meet the character standards required for elected office. Miller, who denies the abuse allegations and is suing Emily Moreno for defamation, has indicated he does not plan to resign or withdraw from his reelection campaign. The couple finalized their divorce in December 2025 after Miller filed in August 2024. Moreno expressed that the situation has been distressing for his family and emphasized the need to protect his granddaughter amidst the public dispute.
