An Iowa woman, Michelle Hudson, 36, was arrested for operating a lawn mower while impaired, according to court records. Hudson, whose driver's license was suspended due to a previous conviction for driving under the influence of methamphetamine, was reported by a witness for appearing intoxicated while riding a Husqvarna lawn mower in a Casey's convenience store parking lot in Tiffin, Iowa, on July 27.
Police arrived and noted Hudson exhibited signs of impairment, including slurred speech and poor balance, although her breath test was below the legal limit. Officers believed she was under the influence of a drug. Hudson refused to provide a urine sample and was charged with operating under the influence and driving while barred, both classified as aggravated misdemeanors. She is currently held without bond in the county jail pending a court appearance. Hudson has a history of convictions, including theft and drug-related offenses.
