He joined the DHS Office of Immigration Statistics in 2016 and became the executive director of the Office of Homeland Security Statistics under the Biden administration in 2023. The office has faced downsizing under the Trump administration. A DHS spokesperson responded to Rosenblum's comments, stating that opinions do not necessarily reflect facts. Former colleagues praised Rosenblum's contributions and leadership during his tenure.
