Waddell is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall with short blonde hair, and authorities have released a photo of her with pink hair to assist in the search.
Waddell traveled to Grenada with a friend for vacation. Her friend lost sight of her while taking an online course at their Airbnb, and Waddell went outside, reportedly to swim. After several hours of concern, her friend filed a missing-persons report when she could not locate her. Waddell's husband, Cailen, was informed of her disappearance while at work and is traveling to Grenada to help with the search.
The police are asking for assistance from fishermen, boat operators, and residents along Grenada's southern coastline to report any sightings of Waddell.
