Netanyahu to Meet Trump and Attend Lindsey Graham's Memorial Service

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will travel to Washington, D.C., next week to meet with President Donald Trump and attend the memorial service for the late Senator Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., as announced by his office on Friday. Netanyahu is scheduled to leave Israel on Monday and meet Trump the following day. Graham's communications director stated that the senator's life and legacy will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 28, in Washington, D.C., and on Wednesday, July 29, in Columbia and Pickens County, South Carolina. In a post on X, Netanyahu referred to Graham as a 'dear friend' and emphasized his contributions to the U.S.-Israel relationship. He stated, 'Lindsey is a great friend of Israel and a cherished friend of mine.' Netanyahu also noted that Graham understood the inseparability of the security of Israel and America. The U.S. and Israel recently launched military operations against Iran, and U.S. Central Command has conducted airstrikes against Iranian military targets.
