Employee at Colorado ICE facility arrested for shooting protester

An employee of a company operating an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Colorado was arrested on Thursday evening after allegedly shooting a woman who had participated in a protest outside the facility earlier that day. According to the Aurora police department, the woman sustained non-life threatening injuries from a gunshot wound to her lower body. Upon arrival, officers found her with a friend, who was unharmed.
