Alabama mother charged with murder after toddler found dead

Sierra Shay Hadaway, 22, has been charged with murder following the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Madilynn Hadaway, who was found dead in Lanett, Alabama, on June 12. According to the Chambers County Sheriff's Office, the child was bound hand and foot and left face-down on a bed for over 12 hours, leading to her suffocation. A second suspect, Christian Myles Sturkie, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound two days later. The investigation concluded this week, resulting in Hadaway's arrest. She is currently held at the Chambers County Detention Facility with no bond.
