Trump to Address Election Integrity in Primetime Speech

President Donald Trump is scheduled to deliver a televised speech regarding election integrity and interference on Thursday at 9 p.m. from the Oval Office. The address will include discussions on declassified findings related to the 2020 election, which the White House claims will demonstrate foreign interference in that election cycle. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt indicated that Trump may also address the war in Iran and the state of the economy at the beginning of the speech. Major networks ABC News and NBC News have announced they will not broadcast the speech on their primetime channels but will instead air it on their streaming platforms. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) suggested that media networks should deplatform the speech, referring to it as a “platforming of lies about our election.”
