The impact ignited a fire that engulfed one of the patrol vehicles. Local fire departments extinguished the blaze. Troopers Jacob R. Casey and Jakai E. Townsend were transported to Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Donah was evaluated at the scene but declined further medical treatment.
