Shooting Incident Involving Immigration Agents in Biddeford

A shooting incident occurred on Monday morning at the intersection of Hill and Pool streets in Biddeford, involving immigration agents and a white Kia sedan. Eyewitness Daniel Boucher reported hearing what he thought were fireworks before witnessing an SUV attempting to ram the smaller car. Boucher observed agents in vests pulling the driver from the car, who was bleeding from the head and later appeared to stop moving. The identity of the driver has not been released by authorities. House Speaker Ryan Fecteau stated that the driver was reportedly shot by immigration agents. Another witness, identified only as Em, described hearing gunshots around 7:15 a.m. and seeing agents trying to control the situation. After police and an ambulance arrived, Boucher noted that CPR was attempted on the driver. Boucher expressed concern that the incident would not be properly investigated, stating he would not speak to the FBI or ICE. Both witnesses reflected on the tragic nature of the event, with Boucher questioning the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
