Youth Baseball Incident Involves Allegations of Coach Ordering Pitcher to Target Opponent's Dugout

<p>During a youth baseball tournament in Kansas City over Memorial Day weekend, allegations arose that an 11U baseball coach from Oklahoma instructed his pitcher to throw a fastball at the opposing team's dugout. The claims were made by Nebraska coach Brandon Magni, who stated on Facebook that the incident occurred while his team was playing against the Oklahoma team.</p><p>According to Magni, the Oklahoma coach, Mychal Ryals, initially directed the pitcher to throw at one of his players, Easton. After Easton communicated this to the umpire, the pitcher allegedly redirected his throw towards the dugout, resulting in a 70 mph fastball hitting one of Magni's players.</p><p>Magni reported that the pitcher was removed from the game but remained in the dugout, while the Oklahoma coach was not removed from the complex. He expressed disappointment with the incident and emphasized the importance of sportsmanship, stating that his team chose to respond positively despite the situation.</p><p>A mother of a Nebraska player also commented on social media, expressing her disbelief at the incident and how it escalated the competitive atmosphere of youth sports. Magni further mentioned that when he requested a forfeit from the Oklahoma team, he was told that his team could forfeit or he could involve law enforcement.</p>
