Actor James Handy Stabbed to Death in Los Angeles

James Handy, an actor known for his role in 'Top Gun: Maverick,' was fatally stabbed outside a home in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning. The suspect, Michael Gledhill, the son of Handy's girlfriend, allegedly stabbed the 81-year-old actor in the chest. Following the incident, Gledhill called 911 and reportedly stated, 'I am the son of man, I just killed the man of sin.' Emergency responders found Handy unconscious at the scene, and he was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Gledhill was seen on a neighbor's doorbell camera walking away from the scene before returning to turn himself in to police. The motive for the stabbing is under investigation, but authorities believe it was an isolated incident. Gledhill's bond has been set at $2 million.
