Matt Brown's Cause of Death Confirmed as Suicide

Contributing factors included 'subsequent immersion in water' and the influence of methamphetamine. Brown was 42 years old. His brother, Bear Brown, announced on social media that Matt's body was recovered from a river in Washington state. Bear stated that their brother Noah positively identified Matt's body. He expressed surprise at the circumstances of Matt's death, noting that he had struggled with mental health issues and addiction. The Okanogan County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call reporting a man in the river, who was later found face down. A firearm was reportedly recovered from the area.
