Trump Shares AI-Edited Photo of White House Renovations

President Donald Trump posted a series of photos on Truth Social showcasing renovations to the White House. One of the images, which compares an old White House column to a 'restored' version, has been identified as potentially modified using artificial intelligence. Google's AI detection tool flagged the image as 'made or edited with OpenAI.' Users on Reddit noted discrepancies in the photo, including an uneven number of steps on both sides of the column, which do not match the steps in the original photo. Furthermore, the before and after images appear nearly identical in angle and detail.
