Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, has received a significant penalty at the FCI Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey following reports of his privileged lifestyle while incarcerated. According to NBC News, Combs was sanctioned for 'disruptive conduct' and has lost 41 days of good conduct time. This information was provided by Jose Rojas, union secretary for AFGE Local 506.
Rojas indicated that such penalties are serious and often applied to inmates found with contraband, such as cellphones. Combs reportedly used a cellphone to view explicit photos sent by a former girlfriend. Rojas emphasized the dangers of having phones in prison, stating they can facilitate serious criminal activities.
As a result of the penalty, Combs' release date has been moved from January 2028 to March 2028. He is currently serving a 50-month sentence for prostitution-related offenses. Following the exposure of his lavish prison lifestyle, Combs was placed in solitary confinement, a standard procedure during investigations, according to reports.
A spokesperson for the Bureau of Prisons declined to comment on individual inmates' conditions, citing privacy and security concerns. Combs' representative stated they were unaware of any disciplinary actions and noted that the focus on Combs raises broader questions about conditions in federal prisons. They confirmed that Combs is focused on serving his sentence and returning to his family.
Reports from inmates in Combs' unit indicated that he spent large sums of money on luxuries while in prison, including access to a cellphone and catered meals. One inmate described the situation as atypical for prison life, stating, 'This is not some normal s–t you see in jail. This is some rich s–t.'
