<p>Two young children and their father are recovering in the hospital following an incident in which a Texas mother allegedly stabbed them inside their home on Tuesday.</p><p>Holly Leeann Flores, 37, from Northlake, Texas, is accused of stabbing her two children, a 10-month-old infant and a 3-year-old toddler, before her husband intervened, according to investigators.</p><p>Her husband, 34, called 911 early Tuesday morning, reporting that his wife had a knife and had stabbed him. When first responders arrived, they found the children with stab wounds to the chest area.</p><p>Police stated that officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1200 block of Daylily Drive regarding a stabbing in progress.</p><p>Flores's husband sustained a stab wound to the head, which was treated as non-life-threatening, according to reports from FOX 4.</p><p>All three individuals were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover.</p><p>The New York Post reported that the Northlake Police Department had responded to the family's home five times since March of this year for welfare concerns.</p><p>Jail records indicate that Flores is facing two counts of attempted aggravated capital murder of a person under 10 years of age, as well as aggravated assault with a weapon.</p><p>During a news conference on Tuesday, Northlake Police Chief Robert Crawford described the incident as heartbreaking.</p><p>The investigation is ongoing.</p>
