Bears Linebacker Comments on Easy Victory Over Jets

Chicago Bears linebacker Devin Bush commented on his team's performance following their 23-12 victory over the New York Jets on October 5, 2026. Bush described the game as 'one of the easiest NFL games I ever played in,' noting that the Bears defense had ample rest as the Jets held possession for only 17 minutes and ran a total of 32 plays. After the game, Bush expressed his enjoyment of the situation, stating, 'It’s fun, man. We’ve got to get ourselves into more situations like that so we can get the offense the ball as much as possible.' He highlighted that the Bears offense held the ball for approximately 42 minutes. Bush also mentioned that he found the game somewhat boring due to the lack of action on the defensive side, saying, 'I got bored a couple of times.' The Jets' loss marked their third defeat of the season, dropping their record to 1-3. Head coach Aaron Glenn expressed disappointment with the team's performance, particularly regarding penalties that negated turnovers and the defense's struggles. Glenn stated, 'I’m very, very disappointed, on a number of different levels. We all have to muster up something inside to get this turned in the right direction when we have a game like this.'
