Instructor Critiques LeSean McCoy's Departure from 'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test'

Jovon "Q" Quarles, an instructor on "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test," expressed his frustration with LeSean "Shady" McCoy following McCoy's exit from Season 5. Quarles stated in an interview with Page Six's "Virtual Reali-Tea" that he lost respect for McCoy after he voluntarily withdrew from the course less than 24 hours after starting, citing issues with mosquitoes and the outdoor bathroom. Quarles criticized McCoy for taking a paycheck without fully participating, claiming he felt that McCoy "stole" from the directing staff who invested effort into the challenges. Quarles remarked, "For you to come out here for less than 24 hours and quit when nothing happened to you... I feel like you stole from us." He noted that McCoy's departure was the first time he had seen someone quit without being prompted. Quarles emphasized the importance of effort and commitment in the show, stating, "When you come on the show, make some effort, give us something, show us something or don’t come out." He added that he has not spoken to McCoy since filming. "Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
