Protests Occur at OpenAI's DevDay Event

A group of protesters stated, "Sam Altman, get off it, put people over profit," while marching in front of signs that read "PEOPLE OVER PROFIT." </p> <p>More than a dozen organizations sponsored a rally outside the entrance to the event venue at Fort Mason in San Francisco. Participating groups included Bay Resistance, Tech Workers Coalition, Service Employees International Union, San Francisco Rising, and the San Francisco Labor Council. A large orange sign displayed the message "Drop the ICE contract." Additionally, several individuals dressed in cardboard robot costumes participated in the demonstration.</p>
