LSU Fraternities Suspended Amid Hazing Allegations

<p>Two fraternities at Louisiana State University (LSU) have been suspended following an investigation into allegations of hazing. Delta Kappa Epsilon and Phi Gamma Delta, also known as "FIJI," are currently under interim suspensions as the university conducts its investigation, according to a report by WAFB.</p><p>LSU confirmed the interim suspensions to Fox News Digital. An urgent complaint was filed on September 3 by an individual who reported to his roommate that members of Delta Kappa Epsilon were engaging in hazing practices, including waterboarding during wall sits.</p><p>In addition to the waterboarding allegations, pledges of Phi Gamma Delta were reportedly forced to consume a gallon of chocolate milk, which resulted in several of them vomiting. Additionally, pledges were allegedly instructed to bring a squirrel to a meeting.</p><p>Delta Kappa Epsilon issued a statement acknowledging the allegations and stated that they are cooperating with the authorities involved in the investigation. The fraternity emphasized that they take the allegations seriously and will take appropriate action based on the findings of the investigation.
