Pro-wrestling star Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), passed away at the age of 40, as announced by AEW on September 28, 2026. Just ten days prior to his death, Satterley shared a tribute to fellow wrestler Andy Williams, who had died two weeks earlier after a medical episode during a tag-team match. On September 17, Satterley posted a throwback photo of himself and Williams, both wearing matching flame-printed bandanas, backstage at an undisclosed wrestling event.
Satterley had signed with AEW in 2019 and participated in the pay-per-view event “All Out” at NOW Arena in Chicago shortly before his death. He was recognized as AEW’s inaugural All-Atlantic champion and a two-time World Trios champion. AEW owner Tony Khan described Satterley as someone who defined excellence in wrestling and highlighted his dedication to the sport.
Before joining AEW, Satterley performed in WWE from 2012 to 2018 under the ring name “Neville,” where he held multiple championships, including the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
Williams, known as “The Butcher” and a guitarist for the band “Every Time I Die,” died after collapsing during a tag team match at Mr. Small’s Theatre in Millvale, Pennsylvania. He suffered a head injury after hitting the ringpost and was later pronounced dead at Allegheny General Hospital. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Williams died following a medical crisis, though no preliminary cause of death was provided. Williams’ father, Frank, shared memories of his son, emphasizing his generosity and the value he placed on friendship.
