Body of 26-Year-Old Servicewoman Found in Burned Vehicle Near Eglin Air Force Base

The body of a 26-year-old military servicewoman was discovered inside a burned vehicle near Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, according to authorities. Tamera Moniq Bolden-Cleckley, a resident of Boerne, Texas, was identified as a senior airman in the 96th Surgical Operations Squadron days after her body was found on Wednesday. Col. Daniel Micsunescu, commander of the 96th Surgical Operations Squadron, expressed condolences, stating, "It is with a heavy heart that I share the loss of Senior Airman Bolden-Cleckley, one of our teammates," during an interview with local television station WEAR. He added, "During this incredibly difficult time, I want to extend my deepest condolences to Tamera’s family, friends, and all those who knew and cared for her." Bolden-Cleckley’s body was located by Security Forces patrolling Range Road 234 and Lewis Turner Boulevard. Federal investigators have not disclosed further details, and the death is currently under investigation. Col. Chris Keithley, commander of the 96th Test Wing, also expressed condolences, stating, "Senior Airman Bolden-Cleckley was a valued member of the 96th Test Wing team, and we extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and fellow airmen during this difficult time." Bolden-Cleckley joined the Air Force in 2021 and served as a diagnostic imaging specialist, commonly known as a radiology technician.
