Greg Bovino and Kristi Noem Hint at Possible 2028 Presidential Run

The pair posted a video on X on Saturday, dressed in hunting gear and showcasing their pheasant catch. Bovino tagged California Governor Gavin Newsom and Illinois Governor J.B. Noem did not provide a comment on the matter.</p><p>Bovino's tagging of Newsom and Pritzker is significant, as both are considered leading candidates for the Democratic nomination. Newsom has been frequently mentioned in discussions about a 2028 presidential bid, while Pritzker has also been identified as a possible contender.</p><p>Pritzker has previously criticized Bovino regarding his immigration policies in Illinois. Bovino has expressed interest in running for president, having launched an exploratory committee earlier this year and created a website outlining his presidential ambitions.</p><p>In a statement in June, Bovino said, "If I were President, I’d lead that [deportation] effort from the front and be on the front line from time to time." Bovino responded humorously to some of the negative comments.</p><p>Bovino was pressured into retirement earlier this year after scrutiny over his immigration policies, which included incidents involving the deaths of two American citizens.
