George Kittle commented on his teammate Kyle Juszczyk's recent fine from the NFL. Kittle posted a photo on X of Juszczyk in a hot tub holding a can of beer, captioning it, "He can’t be stopped!! This is before practice! Are you kidding me @JuiceCheck44." Kittle also tagged the NFL, calling Juszczyk "a menace."
This post follows Juszczyk receiving a $14,926 fine after he pretended to chug a bottle of juice during a touchdown celebration in the 49ers' 35-13 victory over Miami. ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that the league stated, "Your imitation of chugging a beer constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste."
In response to the fine, Juszczyk texted Schefter, explaining that the celebration was an homage to his nickname, "Juice," and noted that this was the first time he had been fined for such a celebration, adding, "And I don’t even drink beer!" Since the fine was issued, Juszczyk has begun the appeal process and shared Schefter's tweets, remarking, "Can’t make this stuff up…" Kittle and Juszczyk have been teammates for nine years, both joining the San Francisco 49ers in 2017 and often seen together during the offseason.
