Holmes, 42, was convicted in 2022 on four counts of fraud and conspiracy related to misleading investors about her company's blood-testing technology. The Department of Justice's Victim Notification System confirmed her upcoming transfer, although the Federal Bureau of Prisons did not comment on her specific case.
The Austin Transitional Center is a privately operated facility designed to assist inmates in reintegrating into society. Following her release, Holmes is expected to live in Austin under the supervision of the United States Probation Office.
Holmes's sentence was reduced earlier this year by 12 months due to changes in federal sentencing guidelines for first-time, non-violent offenders. She has also sought clemency from former President Donald Trump. The documentary, which features insights from her husband, Billy Evans, is scheduled for release on October 16, 2026.
