Polo Player Harry Revell, 32, Dies Following Accident During Match

Harry Revell, a 32-year-old polo player, died after a serious accident during a match at Cowdray Park Polo Club in Easebourne, West Sussex, on Friday, September 11. An air ambulance was dispatched to the scene after reports of an accidental injury. Revell was transported to a major trauma center, while two other individuals sustained injuries; one was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and the other was discharged at the scene. Revell later died in the hospital. Cowdray Park Polo Club described him as a 'much-loved and respected member of the polo community' and announced plans for a farewell cup in his honor before the season resumes. Lovelocks Polo Stud, where Revell was a valued team member, expressed their sorrow in a statement, offering condolences to his family and friends. A spokesperson for Cowdray Park Polo Club stated that they have been in close contact with Revell's family and will continue to provide support. They noted that Revell was unconscious immediately following the accident and received the best possible care until his passing. They also expressed gratitude to the medical teams involved in his care.
