Montrezl Harrell Discusses Relationship with Former Teammate Paul George

Montrezl Harrell, a former teammate of Paul George on the Los Angeles Clippers, spoke about their strained relationship in an interview with Brandon 'Scoop B' Robinson. Harrell stated, 'I don’t make comments about that boy. Me and that boy don’t see eye-to-eye, and we ain’t on no terms, so I don’t make comments about him.' He referenced an altercation during the 2020 NBA bubble after the Clippers lost a playoff series to the Denver Nuggets, where he and George argued over a turnover. Harrell suggested that the Clippers did not re-sign him partly due to this incident. He also mentioned the lack of team chemistry during the bubble, attributing it to the COVID-19 pandemic and the disruption it caused to their training. Harrell expressed that the situation was difficult for him personally, as he was dealing with the loss of his grandmother. He noted that other teammates, including Patrick Beverly and Lou Williams, also faced personal challenges during that time. Harrell played four seasons in the NBA before suffering an ACL injury in 2023. Paul George was with the Clippers until the 2023-2024 NBA season and is now with the Boston Celtics after two years with the Philadelphia 76ers.
