The 27-year-old royal shared a photo with her fiancé, who is also 27, showcasing her engagement ring, which features a 4.8-carat fancy yellow diamond.</p><p>The ring is a custom design by Antinori di Sanpietro, crafted in 18-carat yellow-and-white gold, and is surrounded by two colorless trillion-cut diamonds. The estimated value of the ring is £150,000, approximately $202,000, according to reports.</p><p>Strautmann, a German entrepreneur and founder of a digital agency, previously played for Monaco's youth national basketball team in 2016. The couple has been together for nearly a decade and were first romantically linked in 2016.</p><p>In her Instagram post, Alexandra referred to the engagement as “The marriage plot” and received congratulations from various individuals, including Kitty Spencer, niece of the late Princess Diana.</p><p>Alexandra is the daughter of Princess Caroline and Prince Ernst August, and she is 13th in line to the throne of Monaco. Her mother, Princess Caroline, is the eldest child of the late Princess Grace of Monaco and Prince Rainier III, who were married in 1956.</p><p>Grace Kelly, before becoming Princess of Monaco, was a Hollywood actress known for winning an Oscar and three Golden Globe awards. She retired from acting at the age of 26 to marry Prince Rainier III.</p><p>Following the engagement announcement, Alexandra shared additional photos on Instagram, including one where she is relaxing on a bed and displaying her ring.</p>
